Purchased this stove through Lowes. Dreadful experience with the delivery... they sent a huge truck to deliver a connection kit which was handed to me. Two days later the stove came. It has been a nightmare since. The stove I purchased indicated a broiler draw and also an instruction book that did not match the product. My oven had NO degree settings, it was as if the original dial had been removed and a burner dial had been attached. When I called for assistance/explanation, I was told by Amana support "sometimes they take the dial off one item and put it on another if it is needed." I thought that was nuts, but was assured they were sending me out a replacement with the correct dial with degrees... how do you set an oven temp to 350 when it is a burner dial? Never received the dial, 3 more calls, nothing ever arrived. Also, my fault, did not see that when I purchased it there was no rack included for the broiler... well... can't really use it anyway WITHOUT A DIAL to turn on the broiler. Not sure if this is an AMANA issue or a LOWES issue. Had it installed fully as it was close to Thanksgiving big regret. P.S. Picture on this "My Review" they show a range without a glass door... I believe they sent me a cheaper model, though Amana confirms I purchased the correct range based on the item and the serial number. Don't purchase from either... they don't seem to know or care. Finally... Amana blames Lowe's, Lowe's blames Amana. Avoid both and go elsewhere.

I love this stove! Previously owned a popular brand range with full grid top that was black in color.
My white Amana range has a lovely, deep looking finish with two shiny black grids to cover the four burners™¦so easy to lift off for cleaning. I don™™t miss the extra features and appreciate the rich look of my Amana gas range. Wish I had chosen this one at the beginning. Always looks clean and more suited to my small kitchen.

Bought at Menards and finally installed 2 weeks ago. After I Un shrink wrapped it and installed it I found there was only 1 oven rack. Menards told me to contact manufacture. Waited on chat for over a 1/2 hour and on the phone for 20 minutes. No response!

I wish there was a zero option. We had already paid to have the Natural Gas Orpheus on the top of the range changed over to propane only to find that this stove oven seal wasn't properly installed and couldn't be fixed. The work that was already done cost me $140.00. After writing Customer Service they say sorry it's not covered. When you produce defective products, you should have a better reimbursement policy.

Purchased this in March. Oven off by 25 degrees, burner frames not level at all pans flop, do not sit straight. Asked for replacements, one sent not two, same issue, with the replacement. After making three calls, and waiting approx 1/2 hour before I could get to speak to someone, and not having success, I have given up. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this entire situation. New stove, and at the age of 88, I have to be extremely careful when using.

I bought this model a month ago and because of limited funds I was so glad I could
get one with what money I had. It may not have all the bells and whistles but hey I have a stove
top that works and an oven that works. I will not use the bottom drawer broiler due to
my age as I cannot get down that low but that does not matter to me.
I have a toaster oven that broils for me. I do love how easy the top around the burners is to clean

We've been using our new range for over 4 months now and really enjoy its features. The oven does a wonderful job turning out our Sunday roasts, my granddaughter's birthday cake and even my homemade pizzas. Top of the range cooking provides even, thorough cooking that's definitely faster than my last range. I love how easily it all cleans up without the need for special, expensive cleaners. As much as we are content with our new range, there are 2 things that would make it perfect. I would have liked to have a light in the oven. And the stovetop grates definitely need to be improved. I don't mind one grate per side. However, the fact that there's no stable way to keep pots and pans from slipping off the grate during the cooking process is scary. If the cookware gets too close to the edge, it will slip off the grate. At the very least, it could cause a huge clean up job and loss of food. But in the worst case scenario, a child could get hurt. That's why I couldn't give a 5 star rating. It's a shame really because it's a really good range for those of us that no longer want to contend with all the "bells and whistles" of the ranges of recent years, that fail in 3 or so years including all the big names!. (Hmmm, done on purpose?) We are happy with our purchase and if and when we should need to buy another, Amana is the brand we'll be looking at. But that might take a while. Thanks!

Great oven with lots of great features compared to the last one I had. Interior dimensions were smaller than expected but overall it was a great purchase. Not sure why a broiler pan has to be a separate purchase. Seems like that should be a standard item

I have had the range for about a month. I like the retro look and simplicity of design. Oven temp is a little off, but not a big deal. Most dissapointed with the range surface burner grates that pots and pans sit on to cook. One was delivered chipped and damaged, exposing bare metal which will certainly rust. Reviewed delivery and noted but no response. This should be covered under waranty but I have yet to hear from anyone. This would be a great, economical gas range if the sirface burner grates were more durable.

Love my new stove! So far it has been very easy to keep clean. I had a great installer who made sure the burners were adjusted just the way I like them. He calibrated the oven temperature which runs 50* low and I just set the temperature up by 50* every time I use it. Works great! I love the fact that this is a simple range without all the bells and whistles. Simple and straight forward. So much less to ™go wrong™. And the burner grates are what sold me before I even knew the reasonable price of this range. I did not want to deal with the oversized grates that are now on most stove tops. These are easy clean up for a part that catches a lot of mess. I cook a lot and am so glad I chose this range.

Purchased for my 90 yr old parents who needed just a basic stove . I make their meals for them. Burners have very little adjustment to them so everything tends to burn. Will probably have to call for repair service at extra expense.

I bought my new stove on February 2025. It really is a beautiful basic stove. My only concern is that grates are so smooth that pots and pans slid around while cooking. A little scary.

This stove is JUNK! All four burners burned lop sided, with yellow flames. The repair man was able to fix that. The oven will not heat over 375 and it takes it over 30 minutes to hit that.I have had the repair man out here twice and it still does'nt work DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE IF YOU LIKE TO BAKE!!!!!!

I bought this two months ago, one month ago the oven quit working. I called to file a warranty claim and that was a headache. After finally getting an appointment scheduled they cancelled due to weather, then rescheduled, and after that no call no showed and did not answer my calls. I am still waiting for it to be fixed.

I purchased this for the simple fact that it does not have that circuit board, and large display that everyone is so fond of. This is my third stove/oven, since I bought my new house 10 years ago. I love the brand, it's been my family go-to since I can remember. The new ones are so high tech that when something goes wrong, it cost more to buy another, and they are not cheap. This model is as plain as you can get, no frills. I did have an issue with the stove top grates, they were all bent and the pots and pans wobbled. I figured out how to correct that, so it's ok. Now if I could just get the oven temp set to the dial, my life would be ok.

Even with basic/low-end/cheap/ products, there should be a minimum floor of attention put into it. 1st) Listing says Glass Door". Nope; solid steel panel. 2nd) Top of backboard is slightly rounded on top, making it difficult to add a shelf behind it at the same level. Seems like it would be cheaper to make it flat, and more appropriate for a low end product. 3rd) It only came with one oven rack. I wanted to buy 4 more (you can also use an oven as a dehydrator). But, $83 apiece? That's ridiculous. Even at a 1/4 of that ($11), it'd be a bit high. They definitely need to include at least two racks as standard.
