Poor water flow and SLOW ICE MAKING.

I bought this slightly over a year ago. The refrigerator cools and freezer works just fine. HOWEVER,, the ice maker and the door water dispenser are THE SLOWEST ON THE PLANET. Takes an entire week to fill with ice even when not taking ANY ICE OIT. And the water flows out the dispenser very slowly. Would not recommend buying. And I have checked the water lines and filter and everything is clear. Not sure why it is this way. Would LOVE IT if it could be fixed somehow?? Can you help Ammana?

They did everything they could to cheapen the product. They took a once good ice maker and supply system to a very slow and reduced quantity. You can not fill a water bottle with ice without hitting the water delivery tab so water runs on your bottle and makes a mess. They reduced the storage in the freezer section both in the door and over the ice maker. The refrigerator section lacks a drawer for small items like cheese or spreads.

I bought this refrigerator because of the price point. I didn™€™t want to spend a lot of money. It is a good basic fridge. The freezer is wide enough for a frozen pizza. I do wish the refrigerator side would get just a bit colder. I like my drinks very cold.

Bought this unit as our older one failed after spending the day preparing food for the weekend for company from out of town, didn't take time researching reviews, needed one in a hurry. After delivery and setup, one of the rear casters failed, had to shim with 3/8" board, then rolling unit away from the wall to install that shim, the front casters failed. Placed supports under the frame to level. Vibration from behind the icemaker which takes 3 days to fill the bucket. Based on our experience, look for a different brand. We bought this unit from Menards.

Nice clean exterior lines. Great purchase for the price, practically noiseless. Seems to retain slight moisture in both compartments but no big issue. Holds temps with quick simple adjustments. A few negatives - No temperature display so had to buy thermometers and the interior refrigerator shelves do not extend all the way to the back so items could fall to lower areas. Finally crispers are the same large size, would prefer one large and one smaller in height. Would be nice if more flexibility in refigerator shelf height placements vs. the fixed five provided.

Had this unit for a little over a month. Based upon reviews I thought it would be louder. Fairly quiet compared to the older LG it is replacing. Couple things I would like to see changed. The ice dispenser is located right behind the water dispenser. have issues getting ice without accidentally dispensing water. Should be side by side. Water dispenser drips about a teaspoon of water after each use. If you don't use it, it doesn't leak. Doors open and close easily and seem to seal very well. Drawers move in and out much nicer than the ones in our LG did. would have liked the ability to control temps for fridge and freezer separately but it is keeping the temps right where they should be. Very nice unit for the price. Fix the ice/water issue and you have a solid 5 star unit.

No shelving space choices

Tried to match close as possible our old GE side by side refrigerator..but this isn't it ...the shelving spacing is not really adjustable for my needs . The manufacturers side shelf holders are oddly spaced and don't have several customer choices. The ice maker is huge in the freezer and again the shelving spacing is awful as compared to other side by side fridges of the same size. Unfortunately this fridge was not in stock or could be seen on any floor display of the appliance stores including the larger home improvement stores or I would not be so disappointed in the styling of this model

Purchased Amanna to replace old one that expired. Checked to see if you offered extra drawer, but no. Stopping the ice maker is much more difficult then the old model. The fridge door should have a detent or partial stop at 90 deg to keep from opening to 180 deg

I brought it 6 weeks ago and was happy to finally have it delivered to me. The side by side fridge looked great. As soon as the delivery people left, I got to look closer to my new unit to find light emitting from the fridge door when closed and the fridge side door was not hung properly. Neither the store where I purchased it from nor Amanda would agree to send someone out to fix the alignment of the door. after 4 weeks of being backed back and forth between Home Depot and Amanda, I had Home Depot pick up the fridge and return my purchased price to my credit card. I will not be purchasing or recommending Amanda products due to the lack of service I received from Amanda.

Would not buy again .Refrigerator is less than 9 months old . Model ASI2575GRW11 First stopped dispensing water . Then made very loud noises . Next day stopped cooling . Freezer , ice melting and dripping . Food thawing . Refrigerator side over 50 degrees . I tried to call customer service for 3 days . No answers , on hold for an hour at times .800 253 1301. Finally after multiple messages through Facebook have made an appointment on website for next week . Will have no fridge for a week . Horrible customer service . Would not buy again .

Ice maker and shelves need improvement

Purchased in November. The ice maker is only expected to make around 35 ice cubes in a 24 hour period. Definitely not enough, especially in summer months. Description states 4 shelves but the top of the bin is considered a shelf. Definitely needs an additional shelf,which I purchased. Purchased white which I love. The water filter is hard to push in, maybe because located on bottom of refrigerator. Not alot of interior space in freezer and refrigerator. So far everything is really cold.

Not what I was expecting

This fridge is about 6 weeks old and has not quit running for more than five minutes in an hour. Runs continually and temps are very hard to control. The freezer part will het up to 15 above at times. I don™€™t think this fridge is going to last very long. The egg carton holder in the door is so small you can™€™t open an egg carton in it, like my old fridge.

Slow ice maker

We bought this on Oct 12 and started using it right away. The refrigerator runs well but the ice maker is extremely slow. I have tried to make it make more ice by making sure the freezer is cold enough. We would gladly return the unit if we could and replace it all because of the ice maker.

Affordable fridge with small issues

This fridge looks nice and is affordable. However, while it appears large on the outside, it lacks sufficient space inside. From the very first day, the fridge has been making a rattling noise. I submitted a warranty service request four weeks ago, but the service provider has been very slow in responding, repeatedly postponing the appointment, and I am still waiting for the service.

I'm very happy with my fridge. I have a disability and often rely on riding a knee scooter to get around including maneuvering around my kitchen and the side by side doors make it easy for me to reach my food and frozen items. My only gripe is that the ice maker is much slower than my previous fridge. No biggie though.

Love the space

I am very satisfied with my new refrigerator. I have plenty of space. I especially like the shelves in the door. The only thing I would change is the water dispenser. When I get ice I always hit the water button as well and end up with water on the floor that I have to clean up.

Great refrigerator

I am very happy with this new refrigerator. The inside lights are great and I like the roominess. The only complaint I have is that the lights for the ice and water despensers are underneath the cup being filled so that you cannot see how much water is in the cup unless it is a clear glass.

Fridge-freezer OK. The squeaks suck!!

Overal good purchase. However after about 2-weeks o fuse the freezer door started to squeak when opening and closing. About a week later the fridge side door started to squeak also. Makes dog upset, thinks its smoke detector going off, and you dont realize how often you open and close it -very annoying. Also ice maker has never caught up, very slow. I did remove most things from door, thinking weight in door, did not make a difference.
