Great look, needs more power

I bought the metal bowl one awhile back, it was good, but the glass bowl just looks better, and I think the tilt head is way better. I just wish there could be a bit more power behind it for when I use the meat grinder attachment. And I've learned that I have to use a blender for nuts, the processor attachment won't do well.

Bought this to replace my 40 plus year old Braun machine that finally broke down and couldn't be repaired or replaced. Have only used the new Kitchen Aid a few times. Purchased this as a replacement based on Consumer Reports and it was on sale. Would not have paid full price. For ease of use and flexibility the Braun machine was far superior. Firstly, the Kitchen Aid mixer only comes with one bowl size per model resulting in having to also purchase a second handheld mixer for small volumes, eg. whipping cream and egg whites. Not worth it to haul it out or wash the heavy large bowl for smaller volumes. Secondly, adding ingredients, especially dry ingredients requires you basically to have to stop the machine and sometimes also to lift the beaters. The plastic funnel/lid is an additional exorbitant cost. Thirdly, the whipping beater is not dishwasher safe. Really? At this price point you couldn't make it out of something dishwasher safe?

Given my son's severe nut allergies, it falls upon me to bake all the treats. The mixing has always been the worst part. Finally sprung for one of these on a yearly large online retailer's super sale day last month. What a life changer! Works wonderfully! Saves me so much time and work and blends all the ingredients for a much improved flavor and texture. I went from baking only box mix cupcakes (and only when absolutely necessary) to making a from-scratch vanilla caramel latte layer cake with 3 frostings and homemade caramel--just for fun! And it was amazing! This mixer gives me the confidence to do it all! And looks beautiful on the counter to boot! Next is pizza dough! Then need to save up for some pasta attachments.

So pleased with how easy it is to use, how beautiful it looks, and the versatility of it. One thing to note, you really need to make room on your country for this. Love my new mixer

My son bought this for me. I have had the Classic KitchenAid mixer for over 20 years. It still works but he felt I needed the newer model. Gave my old one to my daughter in law and she loves it.

I just recently purchased my KitchenAid mixer and I am so impressed with the ease of it. I am able to multitask in the kitchen more instead using a manual electric mixer. I unfortunately cannot make any comments about the other attachments as I have not purchased them yet, but when I do I am sure they will not disappoint!

A KitchenAid stand mixer is the one thing we didn't get for our wedding three years ago that I really wanted and I've been sad about it. I love baking and cooking, but recipes that call for a lot of mixing is really difficult to do by hand so I just didn't make them. We finally were able to save up for the Artisan series and I am absolutely in love with it! We've only had it for a few weeks, but with the three attachments that come with it I've been able to make casseroles, pizza dough, banana bread, whipped cream, and fruit dip. The ability to throw in ingredients while the KitchenAid does the work is amazing and the pour spout is helpful when I need to mix a batter and put it into another dish. I absolutely adore this product and my kitchen is now more functional and beautiful!

I had my mother's old kitchen aid and after 40-yes 40 years it decided to quit working. So, what else would I replace it with? Only a Kitchen Aid of course. Great product and feel confident this will last my lifetime.
